Entrepreneurial leader and decision maker with strong track record shaping and guiding organizational success in the e-commerce and new media industries.
Since 1997, Christophe has been building e-commerce & m-commerce strategies for brands, media and entertainment clients. He is specialized in setting up strategic deals related to distribution, user acquisition and marketing with media networks, ad agencies and content companies. Christophe has a strong track record of setting up innovative business models, marketing strategies and new product development efforts. He has been involved in various projects with global responsibilities and recognized as a pioneer of the mobile entertainment space between Europe and North America .
Christophe Co-Founded Totsy and is the President and CMO of the company. Totsy is the leading private sale site focusing on the parenting segment selling all products and services related to families. The company is 100% sustainable and offsetting its entire carbon footprint. Christophe is heading operations, marketing, product development & financial modeling.
Prior to launching Totsy, Christophe launched mSmart, a digital performance marketing company bringing together the power of the Internet, the latest in mobile technology services and traditional marketing methods. The company successfully launched multiple mobile subscriptions products catering to the teenager market. Christophe remains on the Board of Directors of the company.
Prior to forming mSmart, Christophe launched the first U.S. mobile marketing start-up focused on one2one SMS: mia. He attained $1.5M in sales in 18 months with advertisers and ad agencies such as: Coca Cola, MC Donald’s, Miller Beer, FoodTV, Omnicom and Ogilvy among others. He raised a total of $2.8M in funding from both Angels and Venture Capital.
Before that, Christophe co-lead the launch of Enpocket (now Nokia) where he was responsible for the strategic business development of the U.S. operations. His responsibilities included the commercialization of the company technologies including platform licenses, campaign strategy and production for brands and media clients.
Prior to this, Christophe was at Mobile365 (now Sybase). In that position, Christophe co-lead to the launch of the U.S operations for the company and spent 4 years building relationships with content companies, advertisers, media and technology companies such as Google, Warner Music, Sony Music, Oracle, Kodak, Yahoo, Zingy and Motorola among others. Christophe was also involved in various projects with geographic responsibilities covering Europe & Asia.
Prior to this, Christophe was at Logitech where he was responsible for the online marketing efforts of the B2C division including advertising planning and affiliates partnerships. Christophe got his start in the technology arena in 1998 as he was in charge of various marketing, sales and management roles at young company Activ System, one of the first web agencies in Paris.
Christophe holds a BA in economics from the I.E.A Business School of Paris and currently lives in New York City.
